Is it possible to think of nothing? The absent expression on Fausto's face, a metalworker, as he stands in front of the machine he works on seems to suggest so. However, when Ivan questions him, we discover that a thought has crept into his mind. It is that violent thought that is the reason for the encounter between Fausto and Ivan. In a remote valley devoured by industrial cities, the two are confronted with the impossibility of escaping their lives.
