Adriana is a very young, beautiful girl from a humble background in the province of Pistoia who moves to Rome, where she tries to make her way in the entertainment world in many ways. Her search, sometimes tiring and humiliating, led her to meet numerous characters who, with varying degrees of success, were part of that seemingly glamorous world. All of them, to a greater or lesser extent, took sexual advantage of her without keeping their promises, leaving her alone to face her tragic fate.
